Product Descriptions & Photos That Actually Sell

Your product page is your salesperson. Here's how to write descriptions and shoot photos that turn browsers into buyers, on any budget.

Online, customers can't touch your product, so your words and images do all the selling. Get the product page right and conversion takes care of itself.

Lead with the benefit

Don't just list features, translate them into outcomes. "10,000 mAh battery" becomes "charges your phone three times before you need a wall socket." Sell the result, then back it with the spec.

Answer the buyer's real questions

Size, materials, delivery time, returns, and "will this work for me?" If they have to email you, many won't, they'll just leave.

Photos: more than you think

Show the product from several angles, in use, and at scale (next to a hand or in a room). Clean, bright photos on a plain background plus one or two lifestyle shots is enough, no studio required.

Never copy the manufacturer's text

Duplicate descriptions hurt your search ranking and your credibility. Write your own, even short and honest beats copied and polished.
