You can't grow what you don't measure, but most dashboards drown you in vanity metrics. Here are the few numbers that actually move your store.
Traffic and follower counts feel good but pay no bills. A handful of numbers tell you what's really working, and what to fix next.
Conversion rate
Of the people who visit, how many buy? If traffic is fine but conversion is low, the problem is your product page, pricing, or checkout, not your ads.
Average order value (AOV)
How much does a customer spend per order? Bundles, free-shipping thresholds, and add-ons lift AOV without needing more traffic.
Repeat purchase rate
Selling again to an existing customer is far cheaper than finding a new one. A rising repeat rate is the clearest sign of a healthy brand.
Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
What does it cost to win one customer? Keep CAC comfortably below the profit from an average order, and ideally below their lifetime value.
Track these four and you'll always know your next move. Launch your store and start measuring what matters.
